Annie Elizabeth Jobbitt Funeral Card
Funeral card for Annie Elizabeth Jobbitt, née Brewster, known as Hanna. The card reads: "Died - Jobbitt: At Stroud, Ont. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1944 - Annie Elizabeth Brewster - widow of Thomas Frederick Jobbitt in her 63rd year. The Funeral will take place from the family residence Stroud, Ont., on Thursday, Nov 30th at 2 p.m. for service in St. Paul's Church, Innisfil. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Innisfil. Friends and acquaintances will accept this intimation." She was the daughter of John Brewster and Mary Maley, born on 15 July 1882 in Innisfil. On 30 March 1904 she married Thomas Frederick Jobbitt.
Edmund Jobbitt and Mary Catherine Warnica
Studio portrait of Edmund "Ned" Jobbitt and Mary Catherine Jobbitt, née Warnica. Edmund was born on 12 November 1834 to James Jobbitt and Elizabeth Bright. Mary Catherine was born 10 September 1844 at Painswick to William Daniel Warnica and Sarah Orchard. Edmund and Mary Catherine were married on 5 October 1865 and had six children: Sarah Elizabeth "Libbie", James William, Mary Henrietta, Leila Josephine, Charles Edmund, and Thomas Frederick Jobbitt. Edmund died on 21 September 1912, and Mary Catherine died on 10 August 1879. Both were interred in St. James Cemetery in Stroud. The portrait shows the couple standing side-by-side with Edmund in suit and long coat and Mary Catherine in a long patterned hoop dress and belt.
Edna Medora Warnica
Studio portrait of Edna Medora Warnica, who was born at Tollendal on 11 July 1879 to William Daniel Wesley Warnica and Janet "Jennie" Louise Carmichael. At a young age Edna moved to Gravenhurst with her parents. She married Hugh Stamper on 6 July 1914, and passed away on 18 November 1953. The portrait shows Edna in a long coat with buttons and ruffled shoulders, hat, and long skirts. The studio is identified as J. W. Coxworth, Ideal Studio, Gravenhurst, Ont.

George Frederic Hanning Warnica
Studio portrait of George Frederic Hanning Warnica, known as Hanning, who was born on 23 November 1837 in Innisfil to parents William Daniel Warnica and Sarah Orchard. Hanning married Mary Anne Metcalf on 22 March 1865 and together they had seven children: William Robert, Maude Gertrude, Sarah Amelia Agnes, Hanning "Buff" Metcalf, Jessie Ada, Lucy May, and John Franklin. Hanning was a carpenter and barn builder, and he passed away at Painswick on 25 October 1915 and was interred at St. Paul's Cemetery.
James William "Will" Jobbitt
Studio portrait of James William "Will" Jobbitt, born to Edmund "Ned" Jobbitt and Mary Catherine Warnica in 1867 or 1868. He moved to the United States to pursue the lumber trade and there he married Fannie Darringer. Will lived for some time in Illinois and California before moving back to Chicago where he died of pneumonia in 1926. He was interred in the Evergreen Cemetery in Cook County, Illinois. Fannie died on 26 April 1940 in Hawthorne, Los Angeles.
Janet "Jennie" Louise Carmichael
Studio portrait of Janet "Jennie" Louise Carmichael, born on 8 March 1847 to Hugh and Mary Carmichael. She married William Daniel Wesley Warnica on 20 January 1875 and together they had five children: Wilfred Elvin Warnica, Edna Medora Warnica, Winifred Levonia Warnica, Ella Louise Warnica, and Charles Edwin Warnica. Jennie passed away on 30 May 1929 at Gravenhurst and was interred at the Lakeview Cemetery in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Jobbitt and Guest Family on the Guest Farm
Group photo of members of the Jobbitt and Guest families taken on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. John Guest., along with handwritten annotations of who appears in the photo. The caption reads: "Minnie Ruffle Guest Merideth [sic] in doorway. Grandpa Jobbitt sitting. Mary Jobbitt and Ralph Guest behind him. Rex Guest, Marie Jobbitt, Aunt Fanny Jobbitt (Mrs. Wm.), Freda Jobbitt taken on Con. 8 Innisfil home of Mr. and Mrs. John Guest." Minnie Ruffle was the adopted daughter of John "Jack" Guest and Sarah Elizabeth "Libbie" Jobbitt. Minnie Ruffle Guest (1891-1963) married William Henry Meredith (1875-1960) on 15 November 1910 at Nantyr in Innisfil. Minnie died on 17 July 1963 at Toronto's Western Hospital and was interred at St. James Cemetery in Stroud. The "Grandpa Jobbitt" in the description is Edmund "Ned" Jobbitt (1834-1912).
Josephine Crozier Funeral Card
Funeral card for Josephine "Josie" Margaret Crozier, née Warnica who was born on 11 March 1850 to William Daniel Warnica and Sarah Orchard on the 11th Line of Innisfil. She married William James Crozier on 2 October 1872 at St. Paul's Church in Innisfil, and shortly after the couple moved to Wisconsin. There they raised three children: Daniel James "Harvey" Crozier, Leah Sarah Margaret Crozier, and William J. Crozier. Josie passed away on 25 July 1888 from cancer and was interred in the Evergreen Cemetery in Oconto, Wisconsin. The funeral card text reads: "There is no Death! what seems so is transition; This life of Mortal Breath is but a Suburb of the life elysian, Whose portal we call Death. - In Loving Remembrance of Josephine M. Crozier, Died. July 25, 1888 Aged 89 Years. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled, The boon His love had given; And though the body moulders here, The soul is safe in Heaven." The card is black with ornate gold borders and illustrations.
Leila Josephine Jobbitt
Studio portrait of Leila Josephine Jobbitt, born on 2 December 1871 to Edmund "Ned" Jobbitt and Mary Catherine Warnica. Leila passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. William Young, at Stroud on 3 February 1956 and was interred at St. Paul's Cemetery.
Louis Wilfred Guest Funeral Card
Funeral card for Louis Wilfred Guest. Louis was born in Innisfil on 26 April 1876 to James "Fitten" Guest and Hannah Graves. He married Mary A. Tribble on 8 April 1902 and together they had seven children: Lois Irene Guest, Muriel Guest, Hazel Zedna Guest, William James Guest, Wilfred "Eddie" Elwood Guest, Raymond Guest, and Burton R. Guest. Louis was a machinist until his death from a heart attack at his home on 3 September 1934. He was interred in St. Paul's Cemetery. The text of the card reads: "Died at Lefroy, Ontario, on Monday, September 3rd, 1934 Louis W. Guest in his 59th year. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, at 2 o'clock, and proceed to St. Paul's Church, Innisfil, for service. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery."
Lucy May Warnica
Studio portrait of Lucy May Warnica, daughter of Hanning Warnica and Mary Anne Metcalf, born at Painswick on 30 October 1877. She passed away at the home of her niece at Holland Landing on 24 February 1957 and was interred at St. Paul's Cemetery in Innisfil.
Martha Della Warnica
Studio portrait of Martha Della Warnica, daughter of Orchard Warnica and Jane Wilson. Della was born on 5 October 1888 on the 12th Line and married William Sanford Walkom on 18 August 1909. Della passed away at Burlington on 30 October 1974 and was interred in the Avondale Cemetery in Stratford. In the photo she is wearing a dark coloured dress with a white collar.
Mary Jobbitt
Photo of Mary Jane Jobbitt (1897-1941), daughter of James William Jobbitt and Fannie Darringer. This photo was taken on 16 August 1920 when Mary was 23 years old, and shows her in a painted scene sitting in a boat labeled "Municipal Pier Chicago". Mary later married Harry Booth.
Thomas Frederick Jobbitt
Studio portrait of Thomas Frederick "Fred" Jobbitt, who was born in 1876 to Edmund "Ned" Henry Jobbitt and Mary Catherine Warnica. He married Annie Elizabeth "Hanna" Brewster on 30 March 1904, and together they had one son, Frederick Earl Jobbitt on 3 February 1907. Fred died on 18 May 1941 and was interred in St. Paul's Cemetery
