The funeral card text reads: "There is no Death! what seems so is transition; This life of Mortal Breath is but a Suburb of the life elysian, Whose portal we call Death. - In Loving Remembrance of Josephine M. Crozier, Died. July 25, 1888 Aged 89 Years. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled, The boon His love had given; And though the body moulders here, The soul is safe in Heaven." The card is black with ornate gold borders and illustrations.
