Grose, Arthur Noah
Peacefully at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket in his 95th year. He was the husband of the late Jean (Dundas) and the father of Lloyd and Sylvia, Ross and Carol, , Lynn and Ron and Donna and Ian. He was the brother of the late Albert and Noreen Grose. He was a retired member of the Alliston Fire Department and Smith Lumber of Cookstown. A funeral service was held on October 31st, 2006 in Sn St. John's United Church in Alliston followed by interment in Alliston Union Cemetery.

He was the father of Glen (Kim), and Cheryl (Byron Cooper), Cody, Dustin, Sammi and Brett. He was the brother of Linda Guerin and Sharon Boone of California. Service was held at the Innisfil Funeral Home, Stroud, Ont. on November 28th, 2004.

Gwendolyn Edith (MacFarlane) Caunce, a resident of Innisfil since 1978 died at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie at the age of 84. She was the wife of Ian for 49 years and the mother of Carolynn Southorn (Michael) of Barrie and Patricia Anderson (Late Paul) of Markham. Survived by brother Donald MacFarlane of Fredericton, NB and sister Muriel Brayman of Toronto. Funeral service was in the Steckley-Gooderham chapel on September 19th, 2004 with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

He was the husband of Theresa Mathieu of Beeton, Ont. and the father of Jeannine and Steve Horak of Laurel, Karyn and Guy Rutledge of Wasaga Beach, Stanley Gwizd and Lisa of Barrie, David Gwizd and Laurie of Innisfil, Theresa and Brian Reynolds of Lefroy and predeceased by Louise Murphy. He was the brother of Chester Gwizd and Mary Lochowski. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the W. John Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston on May 30th, 2007 with interment in Alliston Union Cemetery.

Hadley, Valentine
Died peacefully at home in his 87th year, Valentine Hadley of Caledon. A veteran of World War II, (King Hussars Tank Corps) he was the beloved husband for 61 years of Esther Cornes. He was the father of Keith and Judy Hadley, Michael Hadley, Denise and Sterling Steeves. Friends were received at the Egan Funeral Home in Bolton. The funeral service was held in St. James Anglican Church in Caledon East on January 12th, 2007 with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

Haessler (1997) and the mother of Guenter and his wife Heide of Wasaga Beach, Klaus and wife Pamela of Dryden, Juergen and wife Liselotte of Germany, Wolfgang and his wife Marilyn of Brampton, Ingrid Themer of Tottenham and Karen and husband Harry Norton of Brantford. Funeral service was held in the Wall-Custance Chapel in Guelph on February 9th, 2006. Cremation to be followed by interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.

At the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ont. in his 87th year, the husband of Lucille (Lou) of Sandy Cove Acres, Innisfil. He was the father of Margaret MacDonald (the late John) of Burlington, and Terry Elliott (Howard) of Alcona. Ken was predeceased by his son Timmy. A memorial mass was held at the St. John Vianney Church in Barrie on April 7th, 2008. Kenneth Hains was a member of the Irish Regiment of Canada in World War II and had retired as Vice President General Manager of Redi Set Business Forms.
