Suddenly at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ont., Ida Halbert-Jones (Ellis) of Sandy Cove Acres in Innisfil in her 84th year. She was the wife of Charles Johne and the late Russell Halbert. She was the mother of Bruce Halbert and his wife Ellen of Toronto and the late Mary Lynn Lee. She was step-mother of Gloria Sinclair of Georgetown. She is survived by her sister Norma Thomas of Alliston and was predeceased by sisters, Irene, Eva, Hilda, Helen, Edith and Marilyn. The funeral service was held in the Innisfil Funeral Home in Stroud (Innisfil) on January 29th, 2007. with intermment to take place in Alliston Union Cemetery.
