Mr. Washburn Jebb owned this horse, Harper Hamilton, in 1896. A trained horse, he could do many tricks. One was to hitch him in the race cart, head where tail should be, and pushing cart ahead of him.

Mr. William "Bill" Leonard

The photograph is of Mr. William "Bill" Leonard who was a policeman in Toronto. Mr. Leonard was born in Innisfil, the son of William Leonard, who was the son of William Leonard and Ann MacLeish, the original Leonards in Innisfil. William was James Leonard's grandfather, and the name William has since been given to a number of Leonard descendants. Mr. Leonard died "by accident of shooting"., IHS1060
