In Cookstown United Church on August 5th, 2005 Heather Currie, eldest daughter of Wallace and Christine Currie of Cookstown was married to Darren Crawford, son of Ron and Elaine Crawford of Prince George, B. C. with the Reverend John McAuley officiating. The brides attendants were her sister Bethany Weening, and friend Charlotte Weening. Attending the groom were friends Matt Gladwin and Jay Whitelaw.
