Passed away at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ont. in his 82nd year. Husband of Mary Ellen (nee Gollinger) of Innisfil. Father of Linda Donnelly (Gary) of Innisfil, Ken Tomporowski of Orillia, Susan Geldart (Mike) of Moncton NB, Patricia Jackson (Brian) of Innisfil, Walter Tomporowski (Brenda) of Duncan BC, Mike Tomporowski (Donna) of Hawkestone and John Tomporowski of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by sons Joe and Norman. John is survived by his brothers Ed, Frank and Steve and by his sister Helen. Predeceased by brothers Alex, Stan, Joe and sisters Ida and Mary. Funeral service in the Innisfil Funeral Home (Stroud) on May 11, 2005. Interment in Thornton Union Cemetery.
