Died at home in Alcona in his 56th year, the husband of Lynne (Racine). He was the father of Candis (Montreal), James (Alcona) and Heidi Leigh (Toronto). He was the only son of Geertje Steenbergen (Ottawa), predeceased by his father Lambertus Steenbergen. He was brother of Nell (Bill) Pocock of Ottawa, Ineke (Bert)Hogewoning of London, and Johanna (Michael) Fox of London. Funeral was held at Innisfil Funeral Home, Stroud, Ont. on August 7th, 2004.
