Died at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ont. in her 95th year, the wife of the late Max Shapiro and the mother of Marlene Aitchison of Beeton. She was the sister of Beryl Magalhaes. A funeral service was held in the chapel of the Rod Abrams Funeral Home in Tottenham on January 3oth, 2008 followed by cremation.
