At the A. R. Goudie-Eventide Nursing Home, Kitchener, Elda (nee Petrich) Shannon, retired school teacher, a long time resident of Innisfil in her 97th year. She was the wife of the late Earl Wilson Shannon and the mother of Earl (Dale), Herb (Indra) and Ken (Marilyn). She was the sister of Rudolf Petrich and Erna Odenkirchen and was predeceased by 4 other siblings. Funeral service was held in the chapel of Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, Minet's Point, Barrie on September 27th, 2006. Interment was in St. James United Cemetery, Stroud.
