Died at Bradford Valley, Bradford in her 90th year, Ruth Sawyer, (nee Hughes), the wife of the late Girvan Sawyer (1994). She was the mother of Evaleen of Toronto, Joe and Verna Sawyer of Gilford, Francis and Doug Shaw, Hawlestone, Anne and Nick Hurdman of Sudbury, Jean and Robert Keffer of Bradford and Mary Lou. She was a member of Gilford United Church and of the Gilford and district horticultural Society. The funeral service was held on March 20th, 2008 in the Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford, Ont. with interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.
