At Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ont. in his 82nd year, the husband of Kay Hayes of Cookstown. He was the father of Chris and Debbie McKnight, Anne and Owen Smitham, Tricia McKnight, Tara and Gary Reynolds. He was the brother of Lorna and Ernie Bell, Margaret and Gordon Hughes. A private memorial service was held at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston on March 1st, 2007.
