At Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ont., George Faris of Alliston and formerly of Cookstown in his 86th year. Dearly beloved husband of of Molly Faris (Hawkins) and of the late Lorna Faris (Kerr). Dear father of Peter (Joanne) and John (Connie). Stepfather of John (Linda) and Philip (Janice) Hawkins. Brother of Lois Wardlaw and brother-in-law of the late Robert Wardlaw. Funeral service was at Grace Baptist Church, Alliston on May 18th, 2005. Interment in Cookstown United Church Cemetery. George, as a young man was very involved in Cookstown United Church and was president of the Presbytery and of Toronto Conference of the United Church.
