At his home in Schomberg at the age of 91 years, the husband of Doris May Rawn for 55 years and of the late Verda Little (April 1949). He was the son of the late Edgar and Linda Courtney, and the father of Mary and Norm Lipsett of Calgary, Lois and Ron Crawley of Alliston, Ron and Alverda Courtney of Schomberg, David Courtney of Schomberg, Wayne and Barb Courtney of Tottenham. He was the brother of Norval and Verna Courtney and was predeceased by his sister Greta and her husband Arthur Leonard. Funeral service was held in the Egan Funeral Home, Bolton, Ont. on Sept. 27th, 2007 with interment in Providence Cemetery.
