Dorothy (Bergin) Cooney former Nursing supervisor Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston died peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, Ont. in her 86th year. She was the wife of the late James Cooney and the mother of John and his wife Margo, Frank and Donna, Cathy and her husband Brent Anderson, Mary and her husband John Finn, Anne and her husband Fred Hamilton and predeceased by Thomas and Joseph. She was the sister of Joseph Bergin, Teresa O'Leary and the late Veronica Major, Bernard, Edward and Ella Bergin. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St James Church, Colgan on March 24th, 2008 followed by interment in St. James Cemetery.
