Ava was selected to play for Team Ontario in the 16u Girls National Championship, taking place from August 24 to 27, 2023, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Her team was awarded the silver medal, and Ava was awarded with the Team Support Player of the Game. Ava has previously been recognized by the Town of Innisfil in July 2019 when she was selected at age 8 to participate in the prestigious all-girls tournament, the "Baseball for All" development invitational in Rockford, Illinois.
