Studio portrait of George Frederic Hanning Warnica, known as Hanning, who was born on 23 November 1837 in Innisfil to parents William Daniel Warnica and Sarah Orchard. Hanning married Mary Anne Metcalf on 22 March 1865 and together they had seven children: William Robert, Maude Gertrude, Sarah Amelia Agnes, Hanning "Buff" Metcalf, Jessie Ada, Lucy May, and John Franklin. Hanning was a carpenter and barn builder, and he passed away at Painswick on 25 October 1915 and was interred at St. Paul's Cemetery.
