: Excursion Boat On Lake Simcoe; Postcard of "Geneva," an excursion boat operating on Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe. Both the upper and lower decks are filled with passengers, and the vessel itself has one stack and is flying a flag that says "Geneva.", IHS476

: Five Generations of Alvin Webb's Family; Colour photo of the five generations of family members of T. Alvin Webb, a veteran of the First World War, taken alongside his gravestone during a dedication ceremony in St. James Cemetery, Stroud. The ceremony took place on 25 August 2016 and was initiated by members of CFB Borden to honour local veterans who fought in World War One.

: Friday Harbour Marina Completion; Photo of the completion of the human made marina for Friday Harbour Resorts. Friday Harbour is an all-seasons lakefront resort on the shores of Lake Simcoe that will include marina, condominiums, theaters, shops and restaurants, a boardwalk, nature preserve and golf course. In the foreground there is a body of water, enclosed by a bricked retaining wall. In the background there are three cranes that have banners saying "FRIDAY HARBOUR" on them and the foundation for a series of buildings. This photo was taken on September 12, 2015 at an event attend by 3000 people to mark the completion of one of Canada's largest inland marinas. The marina basin was excavated, removing 170 000 truckloads (nine million cubic meters) of dirt. The excavated soil will be used to sculpt the landscape of the attached golf course. The water was filled with water from Lake Simcoe, with a negligible change in water levels of the lake. The marina has added 4.5 kilometres of new waterfront and will provide space for up to 1000 boats.

: Gilford Store Interior; Undated photo showing the interior of the Gilford Store. A variety of bottles, jars, boxes, and cans can be seen behind the counter and in the foreground, with advertisements for Old Dutch cleanser, Magic Baking Powder, and Salada Tea also visible. A copy of this photo was displayed in the Gilford Community Hall for a number of years. James Andrew Blain and Helen (Maconchy) were proprietors of the Gilford store from 1885-1919. James Blain emigrated from Castlewellan, County Down, Ireland, to Gilford about 1876 at age 25 and began clerking in this store, then owned by Squire Thomas Maconchy. In 1882 he married Maconchy's eldest daughter, Helen Amelia, and they moved into the apartment over the store. In 1885 he purchased the store and became postmaster, railway ticket agent, and telegrapher. He also operated a cheese factory, later a creamery, south of the Temperance Hall, and subsequently he donated that location as a community park. In 1919 the store was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Badger and the Blains retired to Glenholme Avenue in Toronto.

: Glenwood Beach Cottages; Photo of two small single storey cottages with front porches in a clearing with numerous tree stumps visible in the foreground. William W. Gunn purchased the first cottage lot at Glenwood Beach from Albert Purvis for $600.00 at $6.00 per foot. The beach's name came from Glenwood Avenue, which was the name of the street on which William W. Gunn lived. Allan J. Gunn (b.1913 - son of William W. Gunn) was present at the time of the purchase. The cottage on the left of the photo is the Gunn cottage, built in 1921 by a Mr. Fagan, an Innisfil carpenter, and a Mr. Jobbit. It was painted a heather brown. The cottage on the right, also built about 1921, was originally owned by the Wells family and in 1998 was owned by Cynthia Gaynor. The car on the extreme left is a Model T Ford, followed by a Maxwell c.1918. The photo was taken from the shore of Lake Simcoe. Allan J. : Harvesting Ice On Lake Simcoe; Ice Harvesting operation on Lake Simcoe at the foot of the 8th Line. Pictured are a set of workers preparing to guide rectangular blocks of ice down a channel and into a conveyor for transport to the ice storage house on shore. Cliff Carscadden was in charge of the laying out of the icefield and manning the circular saw mounted on a sled. Savannah Lodge appears in the upper left hand corner. Ice harvested from Lake Simcoe was shipped all over Canada and the United States. Large industries grew up around the cutting, storing and shipping of the ice. The railways built spur lines into places on the lake to pick up the ice, which was harvested in blocks — some weighing over 300 pounds. The ice would be stored in ice houses between layers of sawdust., IHS4197(a)

The photo was taken on Ken and Iva (Jeffery) Robinson's farm located on the Third Line of Innisfil. Two large draft horses are towing the wagon, and Harvey's two young children stand behind him on top of the wheat.

: Historical Plaque Mark Two. Mast-cutting Site; Newspaper clipping of an article about the first historical plaque in Innisfil, unveiled Sunday June 23rd at 2:30pm. Caption under the image reads "Innisfil's first historical plaque was unveiled Sunday afternoon at a brief ceremony held by the roadside, four miles east of Painswick. The plaque marks the cutting of a 120-foot pine in 1853 from the swamp on the property of Thomas Webb, which was used as a centre mast for the largest ship to sail in the 19th century. Hilton Webb, doner of the land for the site, a descendant of Thomas Webb and his daughter participated in the ceremony. (Examiner Photo)"

: History Book Recalls Innisfil's Golden Era; Newspaper article written by Brian Baker, for The Examiner, with an accompanying image. The aritcle discusses the release of book 'Skunks and Scholar' - which is a collection of memories of growing up in Innisfil Township before 1940. The caption with the accompanying image reads: "Don Beatty, holding book, presented Janet Arnet, centre, and Kay Weber with boquets for their key parts in publication of Skunks and Scholars. Also recognised or their efforts were Tom Arnett, left, and Peter Weber (not shown)." : Holiday House For Toronto Girls; Photograph of the commemorative sundial on the lawn of the Holiday House for Toronto Girls, south of Stoney Point on Lake Simcoe. The sundial was dedicated to Eleanor Douglas, founder of Holiday House, as it was her labour of love. The area provided two week holidays for Toronto girls who couldn't afford a holiday. It was also said to be used by female employees of the T. Eaton Co. This property was purchased by Toronto Wrestling Promoter Frank Tunney in 1949 and was owned by him until he passed away. It was later sold again in 1984. The building is still standing (circa 2013)., IHS509

: Ice Fishing On Lake Simcoe; Avid ice fisherman Gordon Spring is pictured on Lake Simcoe, standing in front of his hut wearing a hat and winter clothing. Huts were hauled to the bottom of the 9th concession by means of a large sleigh and a team of horses. Gordon was the son of Isaac and Hettie (née Harmer) Spring.
