She was predeceased by her husband Gordon. The funeral service was held in the Rod Abrams Funeral Chapel, Tottenham on August 21st, 2006 followed by cremation.

She was the sister of Frank and the late Ambrose, Joe and Tom Keenan. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. James Church, Colgan on August 31st, 2007 followed by interment in St. James Cemetery, Colgan.

Audie Jean Trotter (nee Dempsey) died peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ont. the wife for 47 years of the late (Ty) Johnstone Mervin (1996). She was predeceased by her parents William and Ethel Dempsey. She is survived by her five children, William (Elizabeth), Kate, Robert, John and Phillip (Anne). She is survived by her brothers Douglas (Anita) and Herbert (Beverley). She served as a Simcoe County School Board Trustee for many terms, was on the board of the Innisfil Credit Union, and a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church (Coulson's Hill).A celebration of Life event to be held later.
