Studio portrait of Robert Black c. 1870. Robert was the son of James Black, an Innisfil pioneer who came with his brother John and sisters Sarah and Isabella from Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland in 1847. Robert married Margaret Booth and their children were James, Mary, Sarah Ann, Mary Jane, and Robert. This photo shows Mr. Black in a wool suit and sporting a mutton chop style of facial hair. Mr. William "Bill" Leonard
The photograph is of Mr. William "Bill" Leonard who was a policeman in Toronto. Mr. Leonard was born in Innisfil, the son of William Leonard, who was the son of William Leonard and Ann MacLeish, the original Leonards in Innisfil. William was James Leonard's grandfather, and the name William has since been given to a number of Leonard descendants. Mr. Leonard died "by accident of shooting"., IHS1060

Mr. Pratt reached his 80th birthday the same week, has lived all his life on the farm and in the same house as did his father (John) who inherited the land from his father (also named John)., IHS2259
