Hunters' Store at Glenwood Beach:-
This property was first owned and built by R.G. Simpkin. George and Jean Hunter later converted it to a snack bar and a summer post office. They also had cabins for rent. Ray Florin later operated the Shoreroom Tavern, and lastly Jim Alder owned and operated a restaurant before it burned Circa 1980.

Huronia Public School - original building. Construction: steel
Part of the Painswick Section #13 - building constructed of steel by area #2 Board in 1951 to accomodate the influx of students from Minets Point. 2 classroom situated on 10 sideroad, south of #11 highway. 1958, a two room school built beside the steel school at Huronia by Area Board #2.
