Nelson And Melville Martin

Nelson and Melville Martin, twin sons of Fred Martin and Emma Graves, they lived on the 8th line, later moved to Barrie. Melville died when he was about 11 years old and is buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Innisfil.

New Stroud Firehall

Fire Chief Scott Griffith presents Irene Willoughby with a bouquet of flowers and acknowledges her contribution to Innisfil Fire Dept. at the opening of the New Fire Hall in Stroud on Dec. 2, 2002.
Dec. 2, 1952 the original Fire Hall #3 was opened in Stroud and Irene Willoughby was the original dispatcher for Fire and Police calls, doing it from her home for numerous years. The photo behind the chief is of the original volunteer Fire Dept. of whom only 3 are still alive.
