Genevieve took Elocution (public speaking) and performed at strawberry festivals, garden parties, local concerts, church functions and various other venues. This photo was taken just prior to a performance when she was approximately 20 years old. She was born in October 1902. : George Baker, Charlie Baker, and Norman Broley; Photo of three boys - George Baker, Charlie Baker, and Norman Broley - standing in the street, with two buildings visible behind them. The boys are dressed in long sleeved shirts and trousers, and are wearing newsboy caps. The building directly behind them is Monkman's General Store and appears to have several items on display in the front window. It has lightly coloured siding and the name "R.B. Boddy" painted across the side. When first constructed on 9 Queen Street, the building consisted of a store and home dwelling, with a connecting door inside. As time passed the entire building became dedicated to business ventures. Early owners included the McMahons, the Clements, the Boddys, the Hoppers, the Arnolds, Fisher's Superior Store, and R.B. Scott. The building was damaged and nearly destroyed in two different fires (1924 and 1948). Telephone poles line the street and a girl carrying a box or parcel is just visible in the background.

: George Cowan; Studio portrait of George Cowan, the brother of William Cowan Sr., who immigrated to Canada in the early 1850. He was a native of Dumfriesshire, Scotland and was born 5 March 1835 in Lockerbie, Scotland. He married Christina Ross (born 15 January 1831) in Cromarty, Scotland. They raised four boys and one daughter named John, Alex, Robert, William, and Mary. George Cowan cleared and farmed the north half of Lot 20 Concession 11 of Innisfil, and had lived there for a total of 60 years before his death in 1920. The portrait was taken later in his life and shows him in a dark coat with white hair and a white beard., IHS2990
