George Reid farmed on the north side of the 5th Line, Lot 23, delivering milk to Whisker Avenue before pasteurized milk was available. It came straight from the cow and was delivered while it was still warm. The Whiskers had a cottage there, and they were one of the first families on the lake in that area.
