George Barclay
Born 3 May 1834 and died 22 January 1917, George Barclay was a Postmaster in Innisfil and eventually the post office was renamed Barclay to limit confusion with mail being sent to Western Canada where place names included Innisfile, Innisfale, etc. He was a Justice of the Peace and never married. He was the eldest son of Francis Barclay, and his brothers were David, Francis, and John (who eventually married Maria Louisa Nixon). The photo shows an older George seated in a wicker chair positioned directly in front of the door to his home. He is wearing dark pants and a jacket and holding a folded newspaper.

She was the daughter of John and Maria Louisa Barclay, and sister of Georgia, David "Dee", Kathleen "Kit", and Eleanor "Zeta". Born on 3 September 1896 and died on 24 January 1987, she was married to Stanley Alexander Marshall. She was a part of the Order of the Eastern Star, and her husband was a past Potentate of the Rameses Temple Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and second vice-president of the New York Shrine Association.

Portrait of Maria Louisa Barclay (née Nixon, known as Louise), who was Post Mistress and Deputy Post Mistress in Innisfil for forty years. She was married to John Barclay, and their children were Georgia, David "Dee", Kathleen "Kit", Eleanor "Zeta", and Margaret. The portrait was produced by New Paramount Studios in Toronto and shows an older Louise wearing a floral shirt and cardigan, pearl necklace, glasses, and a short hairstyle.

Marriage Certificate Of Agnes Beattie Duncan And Alexander Constable
Scan of the marriage certificate for Agnes Beattie Duncan and Alexander Constable. The text reads: "Registered at Innisfil, I hereby certify that on Wednesday the Twentieth day of November in the year of oour Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred Seven Miss Agnes Beattie Duncan of the Township of Innisfil in the County of Simcoe Province of Ontario Dominion of Canada; and Mr. Alexander Constable of the Township of Innisfil in the County of Simcoe Province of Ontario Dominion of Canada, were by me united in the bonds of Matrimony, at the home of the Bride in the County of Simcoe Province of Ontario Dominion of Canada afroresaid. Witness my hand this Twentieth day of November 1907" the document also contains the signatures of two witnesses, the top signature belonging to Janet Constable and the lower signature is illegible. The officiating minister was L. McLean.

A copy of the memorandum of agreement contracted out by George Barclay for the delivery of mail 6 times per week for 3 miles at the rate of $100 per year (subject to a deduction of one per cent per annum) to begin on July 1, 1901.

News Article On Zeta Barclay Parker
Scan of a newspaper article clipping about the passing of Zeta Barclay Parker on Wednesday 30 January [1974]. Services were conducted by Dr. Charles R. Plaskett of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church in Toronto. The article mentions Mrs. Parker's family and that she was a well known harness racing driver at various district fall fairs. She also studied at Stone Memorial Hospital in Parry Sound to become a nurse, and spent much of her career in New York City. She was predeceased by her husband John Parker, her daughter Evelyn Sharpe, sister Georgia, and brother Dee [incorrectly noted as a sister in the article]. She was survived by her son Jack Sharpe, two grandchildren: Mrs. Gail Kelly and Kenneth Sharpe, and her two sisters Kit Spring and Mrs. Stephen Marshall [Margaret].
