The Stroud Telephone Co. completes 53 years service, now called Bell Telephone. Stroud Telephone was first formed on 27 November, 1911. Robert A. Sutherland was the first president, his son R. Frazer Suitherland made the final telephone call through the Stroud system in 1964, being the last president. Standing, Mrs. Laura Thompson, Mrs. Flo Mulholland, Mrs. Daisie Repath.
