Mrs. Earl Wice (nee Hilda Hoover) in front of Stroud School built 1923 for $21,000 - demolished in 1976. Mrs. Wice taught in a former Stroud School and was one of the first teachers to teach in the new school - prior to 1926 - before her marriage.
