This photo was taken to commemorate the 60th wedding anniversary of Johnson Black and his wife Louisa (née Robins) who were married in 1871. The photograph was taken outside of St. James United Church in Stroud and shows Mrs. Black in a long-sleeved dark dress and Mr. Black in a dark suit holding his fedora. They are surrounded by several bouquets of flowers and appear to be standing directly in front the church's wall.
