Their children were William, Donald, Agnes, Wilfred, Margaret, Gordon, Fraser, and Jean. Daughter Margaret (later Mrs. Andrew) lived in Maple (1976). Son Fraser married Bernice Margaret Jennet of Thornton (daughter of Miller and Elizabeth Jenett). Fraser and Bernice operated a dairy farm on the north half of lot 14, concession 9 before selling the farm in 1993 and retiring. They had four sons: Colin, John, Gordon, and Robert. Mrs. Jean Sutherland (born 29 October 1869) died on 8 October 1946.
