This corner store was built circa 1960 by Sheldon Bowman and Ray Webb for Harry Thompson who operated a General Groceries and Hardware Store. Bob and Edna Leishman also owned and ran this store in the 60's and 70's. Following a large addition the Cozy Corner Restaurant operated there until a fire in the late 90's. Two flower businesses, a carpet business and a small variety store also ran out of the store section (Nature's Beauty-Jackie Collins). Tom Bowman Construction demolished the building in mid October, 2004. Further information is available at the Knock Heritage Site
