Left to right: William Dempsey (1886-1966) and his brother George Dempsey (1889-1971), known as the Dempsey Bros., bought the NH Lot 24, Conc. 1 in 1927 and built summer cottages (Bayview Beach, Second Line). Ice was cut for the use of all the summer cotages (which they rented), they had an ice house near the barn where ice was stored in sawdust for the use of cottagers in their iceboxes.
