Photo showing the exterior of the Masonic Hall located at 4 Queen Street in Cookstown. The building was originally a cheese factory located on Victoria Street that was moved to Queen Street when purchased by the Masonic Order. After renovations, the upstairs rooms were used by the Masons while the downstairs rooms were rented out to other businesses. A local photographer, T.A. Adams, operated out of this building for some time. The photo shows a small two storey building with the Masonic compass and square above the front door, flanked by a window on either side. The front door is part of an entry room that was formerly a verandah before it was closed in at some point in the late 1920s.
