Thomas McCullough (1827-) Married Martha A. Clark in 1852. She died November 9, 1853 leaving a daughter, Martha A. born November 1, 1853. Married Elizabeth Sawyer (born May 28,1837) on March 16,1854. Thomas bought one eighth of an acre on northeast corner of Lot 20, Conc. 7 from Isaac Spring and carried on a successful blacksmith business due to the fact the railroad was being built from Bradford to Barrie that year. (It opened Oct. 11, 1853).On March 3,1854 he purchased SH lot 19, Conc.6 - Moved his blacksmith shop to this farm and carried on the business along with farming until his family grew up. Retired in Barrie and son, Charles took over the farm. See "Historical Review of Innisfil" 1951.
