Photo of a McCormick-Deering model 15-30 tractor, known as the "farmer engineered powerhouse." It had steel wheels, was powered by kerosene, and was in production from 1921 to 1934. It's production before the depression and the Second World War meant farmers could not afford, and factories could not produce, new tractors so older models like this had to remain in use for many years. This photo shows an unidentified driver on the tractor, with the wall of a wooden barn just behind him.
