Mr. Fred Quantz, the photograph was taken in Barrie, he was about 17 years old. He lived at the 12th line. He was on the 12th line west of St. Paul's farming until the Doctor said he had to quit. He worked for Mr. Wisker in Bell Ewart for 8 years, then he went to Toronto where he worked for McIntyre and Taylor. He was a carpenter and mould maker there. Mr. Quantz then came back to Bell Ewart where he worked for the township. He put up and made all the street signs for the Township, in Bell Ewart.
