The occasion for this snapshot was a celebration of the 65th birthday of Keith, the youngest son of Mrs. Couse (Keith). They are from left to right Johnny, Gordon, Keith, Harry, and Jean the eldest. A birthday party was held at the home of Keith's son Scott, an OPP officer in the Barrie detachment. Keith is married to the former Molly Kidd also of Cookstown, and they now reside in Regina. Johnny is retired and has a bee yard in Collingwood, a home in Toronto, and cottage on the lake. Gordon was a history teacher at Carlton University, Ottawa, married to Phyllis. Harry lives in Cookstown, is retired, and his wife's name is Doris, originally from England. Jean is a widow and lives in Clifton Royal, NB Her husband Charles Isaacs died in a car accident at the intersection in Cookstown in 1969.
