Photo taken during a field trip for the Innisfil Historical Society to visit the CPR rail bridge on Cox Mill Road near Lover's Creek. Information from Jeffrey Smith via Internet suggests that the bridge was built in 1862 (by the Northern Railway of Canada) and renovated in 1898 by the Grand Trunk Railway. The bridge, as the photo shows, was made of 3, 50' iron plate girder spans on two stone piers with stone abutments. Information from Heather Hough indicates that the house on the right side visible under the bridge was owned by Harold Small, and the next farm on the same side was owned by Murray Warnica who raised Hereford cattle.
