Black and white photo of the exterior of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey and May Kirby's home. It is a small rectangular house with awnings over the two front and one side window, and concrete steps leading to the front door. It has a gable roof and a small extension with white siding has been added on to the rear of the building. The house was originally constructed in 1954 by Ed Webb and Charles Russell, and the Kirby family purchased it in 1968. Harvey Kirby died on 18 January 1985, and May Kirby (née Whiteside) died on 26 August 1992. The house is located on 3 Centre Street, Cookstown.
