Photo of the exterior of the home of Mr. and Mrs. George and Gladys Davis of Cookstown. Located on John Street West, the Davis family purchased the home in 1953. Mr. Davis was a carpenter who did some renovation of the building, which had originally been built in 1923 by a Mr. McAfee, and added the garage. The house itself is two storeys with a closed-in front porch and a Dutch gable roof. A 1960s style car can be seen in the driveway, parked in front of the garage.
