Photo of the Ontario Hydro sub station in Cookstown, located at Victoria and Dufferin St. The Hydro Electric Power Commission of Ontario purchased the property from James McFadden in 1918 for $375. The system was built in 1918 and cost $2,850. The station was removed in 1996 and a lawn was planted in its place.
