Abstract: Ice House Picture - George Baxter is in the centre of the picture third from the left, standing on a pile of straw. The ice house gang, who provided most of southern Ontario's ice until the advent of electric refrigerators. This photo was taken in 1910. The ice house factory was probably a nice cool place to work in the hot summer months. INDUSTRY - ICE
