The group was delighted to be among the first longtime Innisfil lakeshore residents to have their photo taken in the frame. The frame itself reads: "Innisfil Historical Society 50th 1972-2022" at the top, and the text at the bottom of "44.19.11.50 N 79.32.2.32 W Innisfil Beach Park Ont Canada" indicates the latitude, longitude, and the location. As described by the Society: "As a permanent reminder of the Innisfil Historical Society’s accomplishments over its 50 years, a stainless-steel picture frame has been installed on a busy shoreline in Innisfil Beach Park, with its backdrop view of Lake Simcoe. We hope that this art project will cause residents and visitors alike to pause and earmark their visit to the park with a family photo."
