Document discussing the history of the Stroud Telephone Company Limited. The first meeting of those interested in establishing a telephone service in the vicinity of Stroud was held November 26, 1910. On November 27, 1911 the Stroud Telephone Co. Lts. was incorporated. The Bell Telephone had a line running from Barrie to Stroud and Craigvale which served six subscribers. The line and telephones were bought from the Bell Co. for $500 on September 19, 1911. The document is accompanied by images of the Stroud Telephone Company Limited.
