Document discussing the need for larger schools in the growing town of Innisfil. Goodfellow was the first public schoool availble in Alcona, and stopped children from having to commute to neighbourings villages of Stroud and Cookstown. It was named Goodfellow to recognise the contributions the Goodfellow family has given to the Alcona and Innisfil community. The photo accompanying the piece shows Ward Goodfellow presenting a lecturer to Ken Wiles, the first principal of the school.
