"This was one of the first planes to fly across Canada. Three planes came across Canada in an endeanour to make a pathway for future airlines. They landed at Allandale beside the Allandale Park, and crowds of people went to see them. I'm not sure of the year but I think it was 1926-27. At that time planes would not fly far without refuelling."
