Two Person Injured in Car-Truck Crash A truck and car crashed head-on injuring two persons on Saturday, on No. 11 Highway two miles north of the Newmarket stoplight. The owner of the truck is Nicholas Malko, gardener on the Holland Marsh, and with him at the time the accident was his daughter, Ann. Taken to Newmarket hospital with a broken right leg and chest injuries was Samuel E. McKee, 25 St. John's Rd., Toronto. Anne Malko, 19, daughter of the truck driver, received face cuts, and after treatment went home. McKee was driving south on the highway en route to Toronto from his summer cottage, police said, when the truck going north pulled out from behind a car which had stopped and crashed into the southbound McKee car. Empty vegetable crates in the back of the truck were strewn over the highway. Traffic was blocked for about 30 minutes. The car was badly damaged, its engine being pushed within a few inches of the front seat.
