Earl Guelph Warnica (1923-1996) was the son of Samuel Warnica and Pearl Soules, and married Mary Komoski and they had one child, Ernest. Earl was a World War II veteran and was one of 6 survivors of a bombing raid made by the U.S. Air Force by mistake, on his men. Earl was Bombed for over two hours by the Americans and not allowed to return fire. After the war Earl was based in Holland for a year, driving fuel trucks into Germany for the Allies. He also had a street named after him, Warnica Drive, in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Earl built many houses in Innisfil and in the Kawartha Lakes area.
