Photograph of the exterior of Parson's Dance Hall, which was later known as Peggy's Dance Hall. It was owned and built by George and Peggy Parsons in the early 1930s up the road from Leonard's Beach on Lake Simcoe. It contained and operated as a bowling alley, summer movie theatre, dance hall (until 1970), and variety store until it was torn down in the mid-1980s. The building itself had a gambrel roof with log cabin style walls. Painted across the front are the words "Dancing," "Cabin," and "Pavilion." A gasoline pump and car are also visible just to the left of the entrance.
