Portrait of William Hubbert (1829-1896), the father of the Hubbert Family. The photo only shows his face and shoulders, and he is wearing a beard and coat. He was married to Ann Teasdale and together they had six sons and three daughters: William (1851-1929, m. Elizabeth Stephenson), John (1852-1930, m. Emma Herrell), Charles (1856-1870, James (1858-1945, m. Martha Srigley), Rebecca (1860-1924, m. William Hopkins), Jonathan (1863-1931, m. Jame Pearson), Thursa (1871-1945, m. Thomas Bishop, later m. Grant Jarvis), and Rhoda (m. William Pearson). Of these, all but two established homes in Innisfil Township. The old homestead remained in the family name until the retirement of W.O. Hubbert in 1944.
