Photo of the home owned by Howard Allan and his wife Edna (née Sturgeon) on the 4th Line, west of Churchill. It is a dichromatic brick house with a gabled roof and wraparound verandah. Howard's parents John and Agnes Allan built this house in either 1881 or 1883. Howard was the youngest of the Allan family and the only one born in this house, in 1883.
